Hangzhou-Wenzhou High Speed Rail Xianju Tunnel Project Starts

On February 20th, the Xianju Tunnel Project with a total length of 8228.91 meters, a key control project of the Hangzhou-Wenzhou Railway under the construction of the Shanghai Civil Engineering Group Co.,Ltd. Of CREC, was officially started.

The Hangzhou-Wenzhou high-speed railway runs from Hangzhou West Railway Station in Zhejiang Province to Wenzhou South Railway Station in Zhejiang Province. It has a total length of 315 kilometers and a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. It is a high-speed railway that integrates the backbone road network, intercity and tourism functions and has been included in the national medium- and long-term railway network plan. The Xianju Tunnel under construction is located in Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province. The maximum buried depth of the tunnel is about 603.05 meters, and it passes through 5 faults and 12 concentrated joint band, large water content prone to occur mud burst water and rock burst accidents, making construction difficult.

Self-drilling hollow anchor bolts are undoubtedly a safe, effective and economical anchoring method when the tunnel is built in geological conditions with complex terrain or rockburst. Self-drilling hollow anchor bolts can integrate drilling, grouting and anchoring functions together without casing, ensuring the safety and efficiency of construction under complex conditions.
