Besides the longest tunnel in Indian Railway, the stretch also has another striking feature - the tallest bridge in the world, being constructed over Iring river with a pier height of 141 meters, almost equal to two Qutub Minar stacked over each other.
Indian Railways have taken a holistic approach towards development and the 111-km-long new broad gauge railway line from Jiribam to Imphal.
The tunnel would not only connect two parts of Manipur by rail but it would also be a symbolic representation of the state getting connected to the Indian mainland.
Self drilling anchor is a safe, effective, and economical anchoring method. When the tunnel is built in the terrain or the surrounding of broken rocks, loose soil layer and difficult to drill, self drilling anchor can integrate drilling, grouting and anchor together without casing pipe and drilling pipe, and then ensure the anchoring effort in the complicated geological condition. It owns the features of convenience, reliability and high- efficiency.
