Bangalore Metro’s upcoming Chickpet Station where major civil and interior finishing works are currently underway.
The BMRCL and Karnataka government have publicly been targeting to open this station, part of the pending 12 km section of the Green Line between Sampige Roa－Yelachenahalli in April 2017.
As India’s Silicon Valley, Bangalore has been developed into the center of IT industry. While population of Bangalore has increased rapidly and traffic is terrible, which has influenced local companies’ routine work and production efficiency. So far, two metros have been approved to be built to ease the traffic pressure.
