Mu Zhengfei, the main character of our interview today, is a quality inspector of products in Quality Department of Luoyang Sinorock Engineering Material Co., Ltd.. Through three-month Quality Month Activity in Sinorock®, our company has made great success and quality department has left us deep impression. Today, let’s review what they are doing through Mu Zhengfei:

Shell: When did you join Sinorock®and what are you responsible for?
Mu:I joined Sinorock®in April, 2015. Although I came here less than one year, I think I have learned a lot. I firmly believe that once you do a thing, you have obligation to do it well.
I am responsible for inspecting raw materials before they entering our factory. It is the first link of our production and the quality control is quite important, so I often communicate with suppliers to control inner quality standard. As a member of Quality Department, I should put quality at the first place, decrease quality cost and create benefit for our company.

Shell: After three-month Quality Month Activity in Sinorock®, what do you think the biggest change of our company?
Mu:Before this activity, I felt that the quality of products is only the responsibility of Quality Department, and after three-month training, I saw everyone in our company has participated in concerning quality. The quality consciousness in our company has enhanced largely. Everyone is very careful and positive to find problem, figure out reason and then solve problem. The qualification rates of our production is increasing and customers’ complaint is decreasing.

Shell: During the three-month of Quality Month, it seems that your department’s tests are quite many, do you think so?
Mu:Test is a good manifestation of accumulating knowledge. It pushes you to study. I think it is good for us. As Quality Department, what we should do is to control every link of products’ quality, so every detail should not be ignored.

Shell: What’s your goal in the future?
Mu:What I am going to do is to control products’ quality of every production link, ensure that our products are zero-defect and 100 percent qualified to be delivered to customers. I will increase the frequency of communicating with other departments and improve the efficiency of working. As to my life, I hope I can go to travel in my spare time.
